We've been through a lot. It was my second bike that I bought in 2005 to replace my GS500E, twice the horse power and all that lovely Bandit midrange torque and sound. I've had it out to the Cabot Trail in 2006, my very first multi day tour, then collided with a deer on it in 2007 putting it into the garage with tweaked forks and missing fairing, and me into the hospital courtesy of the ambulance. I put it back on the road last year at the urging of my good friend Willie, and parted company with it this year as the DR650E is the new love in my life. I'm down to two bikes in the garage now, one of which is powered by pedals. :D
